The Big Thing is an action

packed week of events.

Below are the dates and times for main events.
All events are invitation / confirmation only!

What is The Big Thing?

Enapter is unleashing the potential of a highly versatile and zero-carbon emission energy carrier: hydrogen. Fossil fuels are a thing of the past. The Big Thing demonstrates how to use hydrogen in microgrids as an alternative to diesel generators for energy storage. From October 08 to 11, Enapter invites experts in energy, science, economics, and politics to its workshops in Thailand. The Big Thing kicks off by building an entire microgrid and integrating hydrogen as a storage solution. The following day, Nong Nooch Garden hosts its press conference to announce its commitment to hydrogen. Enapter will address hot topics like AEM electrochemistry and hydrogen industry trends in the form of workshops in Bangkok. And the The Big Thing will wrap up with a VIP Hydrogen Party.

Why, The Big Thing?

Renewables are abundant and cheap, but the default energy storage choice for minigrids is still fossil fuels. Enapter is on a mission to replace fossil fuels with hydrogen. We need solutions to effectively use green electricity in sectors like heat, industry and mobility. Hydrogen can be the base for any gas, or fuel and can be transformed into electricity. Making use of excess renewables, storing them for later use, or enabling the use of solar and wind in sectors other than power. Hydrogen is the missing link. Hydrogen is The Big Thing.
